Monitor Audio RS1 vs Kef IQ3 with Rotel RA 04 Amp

Hello Everyone!

I have in my bedroom a Rotel RA 05 powering a pair of KEF IQ1, with Atlas Hyper 2.0 Cables and I´m not satisfied with the sound... There is not enough power and when I turn the volume a little up the speakers fall apart...

I have a great sound in my living room (Rotel RA 06 and KEF IQ7, Atlas Hyper 2.0 cables) and when I go to the bedroom, I feel quite sad... 🙂 I don´t want the same power in the bedroom but I would like a little bit more, mantaining a quality sound, with a relatively small speaker...

So my doubt is to get a bargain pair of KEF IQ3 or Monitor Audio RS1. I noticed the Monitor Audio are a bit smaller than KEF will that be noticed on the bass of the speakers?? Anyone compared them side by side??

Help me on this please.

I have B&W 685 with my ra05 and they sound ssuperb. Are they wityhin budget and ok size wise

I know that B&W 685 Rules in small monitor speakers, the problem is their size, speccialy it's deep, they are very deep for the furniture in my bedroom. thatïs why i am inclined for monitor audio rs1... Maybe one day when I change my house I will get a pair os 685... 🙂 Thanks!
