Monitor Audio MR2 vs q-acoustics 2020i

Hello everybody!

I can't decide between these two speakers:

The Monitor Audio MR2 (which is said to be an evolution of the BR2) -> Official Website

And the award winning Q-acoustics 2020i

Both speakers are in the same price range: I can find the MR2 for 199€ (159£) and the 2020i for 179€ (144£).

I mainly listen to old school Hip-Hop / Soul & Funk / Rock. For now the speakers will be placed in a small room: 9m^2 (Yep I'm a student :doh: )

I can't seem to find a lot reviews of the MR2 on the internet so I'm asking you guys. I know I can't go wrong with the Q-acoustics but I like the look of the Monitor Audio better.

For you is there a significant difference between these speakers?

I have the 2020i partnered with Denon DM38, the synergy and sound from 2020i is fantastic. Heard BR2 (old model) with DM37 also, but 2020i blows it out of water. May be MR2 is good, I don't know. :?

Ok thanks! I doubt there's that much of a difference between the BR2 and MR2.

MR series are an 'lower price' edition of BR series....!
