The Silver series are known to be bright, not Gold. Pairing with the right amp is also important: bright speakers with warm amp and vice versa.

Speakers are designed to sound like the real band etc. (Each manufacture has their own way of doing this) so are you sure that what you are hearing is actually bright (It may be just greater clarity) or is in fact giving a more accurate sound than you are used too. (When was the last time you went to listen to live music)
The most important thing is that you find them to your taste (If you don’t listen to live music regular you may just prefer more mellow sound) as you have to listen to them long term, always try a selection before purchase and under no circumstances rely on a review, as everybody’s ears are different.
In the end only you can decide what is right for you.
