Although I must say that the range doesn't appear to be as flexible & extensive as Radius HD............maybe more speakers will subsequently be launched.

I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it.

Not you personally, of course!

Which systems do you think will compete strongly with them?

It depends - you can pitch them against the lifestyle market, or against the hi-fi 5.1 speaker package.....

It's OK, chaps, they probably tell all their dealers they're the special one...

Though of course technically the first dealer to get them will be Audio-T, being as they're the hosts of tomorrow's Bristol show, where the Apex range is being launched in UK

Surely the thing we all want to know is, Are these new M.As gonna kick the B&W MT-30s off the top of the tree?

Or is the pricing pushing them into Arena Highline territory?
 
Indeed. Should be very interesting - it's been a while since there's been a serious range of style-speaker contenders at that premium price point.

They didn't sound brilliant when I popped in the room, but then again I wasn't familiar with the source material. I think I'll wait until we get them in store before passing any sort of judgement - I'm sure they'll sound great when we get them in store. Which will be mid/end of April by the way after chatting with Alex today.

Quite right too....
 
They look great, and even though I expected them to be a little bigger, I really don't think the source material was doing them justice. Or maybe they just didn't suit the Pioneer amp they were being played through.

I couldn't work out the source material either (concert blu ray), but it sounded to me like the sub wasn't on...
