Hello what hi fi team,

Will you be looking to review this speaker package any time soon? The last time was back in 2008 and you gave it 5 stars but its no longer on your site or in your magazine.

This isn't exactly brand new so if it was reviewed in 2008, why should it be reviewed again - unless of course a newer incarnation of the same has arrived?

Since you have them, why don't you tell us how they sound to you instead?

They sound good to me and fit into my set up nicely. The reason i ask is a few friends came over and would like to get into home cinema, i pointed them to what hi fi for reveiws and the buying guides but the mission speakers have been removed.

Older products that haven't been reviewed for a while tend to fall off the map as far as mags and the general public are concerned. Quad's Lite 5.1 package was all the rage a couple of years ago, but the new Lite 2 hasn't been reviewed, no marketing, hence, no interest and no one knows about it!

It's not necessarily true that old speakers don't get a review.

I'm not aware the MT-30 or KEF 3005SE has been updated in recent times, but they've been in more recent group tests.

I think if a test is being done of speakers at a price point, it should include a good spread of all the options, old and new.
