Having been kicking around the Middle East for a number of years and a bit of a Hi-Fi addict I've always got me eyes open for any good deals...
This month I picked up the Onkyo TX-NR5008 monster receiver for 1300 quid...actually bought it before the review came out I was that impressed....also picked up a Jamo speaker system, C80 surrounds, centre, sub and 809 floorstanders, these were also a snip at 1800....last but not least was the new Onkyo BD-SP808 Blu-Ray player which was exactly the same price as the UK but I had to have it....!
I can't rave about this system enough....movies are stunning on my Sony 46" LED and it sounds fantastic spinning CD's....best Xmas pressie I ever bought meself!
