I am currently running these in and only listened to them for a minute when I plugged them in my amplifier on repeat track mode.

First impressions, lovely build quality and great attention to detail down to packaging and accessories. Amazing.

Sound ... not so much. However, cold from box with 0 hours. - I think this may be another one to that will benefit from EQ.

More in depth impressions and comparison withy other HP's when I had more time with them.

I didn't... I took out a 25 year mortgage instead.

I have had a chance to use them for a few hours and my initial impressions have certainly changed. This may be partly due to running in (40 or so hours) but mainly because the pads are getting a little softer and conform more to my head. I also have to wear them further forward than any of my other headphones.

I do EQ them and they are very nice.

More explanation and thoughts will follow once I have a little time.
