Matching speakers for Yama HTR 6130 amp

Hi,

I want 2 matching bookshelf speakers for my Yamaha HTR 6130 amp (orogonally 5.1).
I believe that's 100w per chan. @ 8 ohms.
Would you please recommend reasonable matching speakers for the same?

Welcome to the forum. You don't match speakers to an amp, generally, you get them to suit your listening room. What size room and what's your budget. Can you actually audition any that may be suggest as its recommended you actually listen to some.

+1 to Al's reply. If you are literally putting on bookshelves that will limit choice too. Are you?

The Yamaha seems to be rated at 100watts with 0.9% distortion. Most hifi is referenced to 0.1% max, so I guess it might realistically be nearer 75/80watts for lower distortion. That won't be material to your decision I suspect.

mabye try with some speakers with dobuble terminale s if you can use the amp it to bi amp the speaker
