Hi,

I'm toying with the idea of adding the above subwoofer to my set-up, to bring a bit of ooomph, va va voom to what I'm currently hearing (generally very detailed, can sound a bit bass-lite a lot of the times though).

Anyway, I had a look on the Jamo website. Couldn't find nowt on the E7 (I did see the D7 - is it its replacement?).

I would like to know if the experts here think that the E7 is the right sub to complement my old Studio 10s?

I do watch a lot of movies too (one's gotta love Lovefilm!) using my set-up so a sub wouldn't go amiss while I can't have a full surround system atm.

Thanks in advance for your input and advice.

I would seriously audition the RSW12, it's a brilliant subwoofer.

I'm sure it's a brilliant sub but it costs more than I can afford to spend. In your opinion, do you think there'd be a problem going for a different brand from the speakers?

No, definitely not. The usual suspects like the MJ Acoustics 50 (I think) and the Wharfedale 250 (I think) would be worth a listen.
