Here is a very cool headphone, my favorite stealth color (matte black), small but very very good.

Just a wacky, off-the-wall thought, Dale – why not post your reviews here?

Hi Andrew. If you mean post the full text here instead of a link, I'd be delighted to. Can you delete the current thread so I can repost it? BTW, I've had trouble referencing my youtube review in the posts unless I turn rich text off, so I hope with rich text off that I can get correct plain text formatting with a blank line between paragraphs.

i think Andrew means just post them here instead of hifiheadphones, rather than replicate the prose.

I had been looking for a very reliable place to post my reviews ever since Stereophile told me to stop posting individual reviews at their headphone forum. So over time I developed a good relationship with hifiheadphones UK, and they don't have a problem carrying a review of a product they don't sell, because on the one hand it brings hundreds or even thousands of people to their site where ads are posted, and on the other hand I answer questions there that steer users to their products. So I'd like to do the same here, but just walking away from that relationship without having the equivalent relationship established here or elsewhere is kind of, well, not logical.

Edit: About 95 percent of my reviews are items I purchase and have no connection to a manufacturer or supplier.

I think I must have missed the point.

I think Andrew wondered why you posted a link rather than posting the text from your review on here as well (on multiple forums), like many other forum members do. After all you are just a punter who has purchased a new pair of headphones and is writing your personal opinion on them. If you have some sort of agreement with the other site you should probably add it in your signature as you are a member of the trade.

egg, I think Dale made that perfectly clear he isn't affiliated. Personally, if I read the reviews I don't go looking around the hifiheadphones site after that. I simply come back here. However, the explanation sounds like affiliation! The worry to some could be the 5% not bought.

I have never sold any of the headphones or amps I have gotten, including the 5 percent free or 95 percent purchased. All are given away. As to posting full text, that was my original practice more than a year ago. I was told not to do that by a few forums, and so I've reverted to the links. I'm perfectly willing to accomodate any request, as long as it's made clear.

I have 5 amps now: v-moda verza, Decware Zen Head, FiiO E12, FiiO E07K, HRT Microstreamer, all purchased. I have these headphones: Apple Earpods, ATH ESW9a, ATH ESW11, B&W P5, Beyer DT770LE, Bose AE2i, Phiaton MS400, LSTN Fillmore, Senn IE800, v-moda M100, all of those purchased. 'Free' that I have are the Soundmagic HP200 and FAD FI-BA-SS, which can be donated to any legitimate charity of your choice.

Free amps I gave away were the FiiO E17 only. Free headphones I gave away were GMP 8.35D, Marley Exodus, RHA MA-350, v-moda M80 (white, I purchased the black version first). That's it! I have name and address of all persons I gave the free stuff to, and quite a few purchased items, if anyone cares to conduct an audit.

Dale, I'm not accusing you at all. I hope you don't think so, I love your reviews and videos. Just your explanation might need tweaking to stop anyone else thinking anything else. Please don't stop posting them here and do in full rather than link.

Actually I read your post and the prior post, and I thought you were defending me from the other person. Isn't it interesting how you would see it the opposite way? And now you understand my dilemma - I have in fact gotten much grief from forum mods on this - so if you have the official word, I will follow what you say, otherwise I will wait for the official word.

Yes, you can do that. I usually leave an extra space between paragraphs.

Defending you from what exactly, your response was open to interpretation.

Andrew has said you can post your reviews on here and why shouldn't you, its a public forum, everyone's input is welcome. The more reviews people can read from different sources is helpful when making prospective purchases. I read your reviews and find them interesting (if a trifle long winded), even if I don't agree with the way you conduct your tests you seem to come to the right conclusions. So what's the problem, post your reviews instead of being a drama queen.

It is you who are being the drama queen. I explained exactly why I do what I do, because of the response I've gotten from different forums. You choose to ignore what I explained and try to accuse me of being a "drama queen" - what is your problem? Look at the Stereophile headphone forum. Most of the reviews are mine, and drew tens of thousands of reads, yet they shut it off with some very unfriendly comments.

Seems to be a common theme that you rub people up the wrong way then.....

We don't have to guess about your theme - your theme is to keep making personal attacks. As I asked before, what is wrong with you that you feel a need to turn this discussion into a personal vendetta for you? This isn't about you, it's about how to process reviews, according to the actual instructions I've received from the responsible persons here (I'm guessing you're not one of the mods here).

WTF are you talking about, this was my original post.

You asked about posting your reviews on this forum and Andrew (who is a moderator of this forum) suggested that you post them on here, along with everybody else who thought it was a good idea too. You then babbled on about having an agreement with another site blah de blah which has nothing to do with posting on this forum. The moderators have said it's OK so just post your damn review. Sure I may have goaded you on a couple of next posts but only because you were still babbling on like you wanted a written invitation chiseled in stone.

Since you've made it obvious here that you didn't read WHY I posted what I did, then you're not only making a personal attack, you're doing it from complete ignorance. You currently are posing as an ignorant babbler, and trying to point to me instead. So there you are.

Personally I can understand Dale's sensitivity given the history he describes. I don't see 'goading' is helpful in any circumstances. I agree it would be a good idea if Dale posted his reviews here too, I enjoy reading them but would do so more readily if they were on this site. I agree Andrew has given all the permission that is needed :)

Unfortunately for you I'm old enough and have enough wrinkles to not react to name calling, but I guess it gave you a warm fussy feeling posting it so I won't spoil your moment of glory.

Pauln - "W T F is your problem"

nothing too serious, was just having a bad day.

Resident troll. There's a few on here, a couple have posted on this thread. They should have their own thread and keep off this one.
