Marantz SA8003 CDP superseded by the KI Pearl Lite?

Just noticed that the SA8003 CDP is no longer listed on the Marantz website; might this be due to the close proximity, pricewise, of the new Pearl Lite SACD player? If so, there could be some good deals to be had on the outgoing model.
