Marantz PM6004 suitable amp for CA S70 speakers and S90 sub?

Hi,

This is my first post and I'm not very knowledgable on hi-fi in general so looking for some advice if anyone can help.

I have two Cambridge Audio S70's and an S90 sub. I'm looking to buy a new amp this weekend after a faulty CA 540A proved more trouble than it was worth.

The budget is around £350 and the amp I have in mind is a Marantz PM6004. I just wanted to confirm that this will be compatible with the speakers and can accomodate the sub (wattage and all the necessary inputs and outputs etc)?

Also are there any alternative suggestions?

How did you have the sub wired up previously?

Yer, it was a single line from an input on the 540a labelled IR emitter to the mono line input on the S90

Are you sure you were getting any sound out of the sub...?
