Marantz PM6003 cross talk

I recently got hold of a Marantz pm6003 to use with a dacmagic and mac mini. I've noticed that if I change the input from aux/dvd (connected to dacmagic) to cd and increase the volumn to 12 o'clock I can clearly hear the music being played over the dacmagic. This happens even with no other sources connected to the amp.

Is this normal behavior for a £300 amp? Is it faulty or am I just being too picky?

If it makes you feel any better my NAD C355 also does the exact same thing. Not sure if it is normal.
