Marantz NR1602 slim, would it work well with some Bose 301 stereo speakers? What would be a good center option?

I need a new amp and love the look of the Marantz slim line, whilst in the shop I also noticed the Bose 301 speakers which just look the dogs and being Bose should sound good. Right??????

I've not had a bemo yet.....

Can anybody advise if 50W would be enough to power the bad boys?

Also could anybody suggest a good centre speaker to work with the Bose as they don't make one.

....

Cheers.

I'd bet a set of KEF Q300 speakers at around the same price at the moment would match better with the Marantz.

Oh and a KEFQ200c to Match offering perfect tonal balance across the front.

Telling you right now, you dont need a centre, or a subwoofer for that matter. The sound these put out is perfect for home cinema in my opinion. They got bass as well, They are really nice speakers and work better as home cinema than hifi they need space though... Talking from experience :)

Mine are powered by a 45Watt amp so 50 should be enough.
