Marantz NR 1605

Quite interested in this after finding it on a german website. Am looking for something more compact for box reduction and hope it has some of the functionality of the M-CR510 in an av amp.

According to google translate it is the replacement for the 1604 and has built in wifi. Interestingly it mentions bluetooth but not Airplay. Picture is of the 1604 though.

The free Ethernet to wifi adapter sky customers can get, work with the 1504 and 1604

1605 now official on the Marantz UK site - looks really good.

Hi all, new here

I'm looking at this NR1605 as well. I currently have a Marantz MCR603, but I'm looking to step up a bit in terms of audio power and quality. Also the network on the 603 is forever dropping and takes an eon to startup. Also I'd like something that handles all the movie sound formats as well.

Do you think the 1605 will be a good upgrade from a 603 in terms of music quality, and is it capable of driving larger floor-standers ? I'm currently using B&W 685's with a Gemini II sub, but may upgrade to 684/3's in future.
