Marantz MCR603

Quick question, chaps,

What is the best way to connect a laptop to the Marantz MCR603 to get the best possibly SQ. I want to play Spotify through the Marantz, but I don't want to do it wirelessly (seem to get a lot of drop outs and freezing etc).

I know there's a lot of talk about the MCR603 on the forums, but I can't see where anyone has said the best way to do things with leads, rather than using Airplay etc..

Maybe I can't see for looking...

Do You have a Dac, If so what inputs does it have or does the laptop have optical out ( unlikely few do )

if you need to go leads route, for best SQ most likely USB audio out to dac then to 603

If you have an optical output on your laptop then the simplest would be to use that, alternatively you could use an analogue connection like a jack to jack or jack to phono, but I'd stick to digital if you can.

Or you could always plug a network cable into your lapop for a better network connection..
