Marantz M-CR603 vs. PM5004 + CD5004

Hello,

I am buying an Hi-Fi stereo, while deciding I was sure to buy Ampli and Cd Player separated, but today I heard the Marantz M.CR603 (with B&W 686) and it seems to me that it sounds even better than for ex. Marantz PM5004+CD5004..

Would like to know if this kind compact can be even better that separated Hi-Fi (or if I had a wrong impression) and which speakers you would add (was thinking Boston Acoustin A26)...

I'm going to get M-CR510 next Wednesday for home demo.. I'll report back... I'll be replacing [ if I like it] PM6004 and rDac.

Not B&W 686, that's for sure. From what I've heard, the 685s would be a better choice. I've liked what I've heard of the B&W CM1s and by reputation it'd even be interesting with some PMC DB1is (discontinued, but may still be available marked down or 2nd hand for a good price). Or maybe Monitor Audio BX5 for a reasonable floorstander.

Not heard them, but I'm sure the Boston Acoustics would be fine.

Was also deciding to opt for Dynaudio DM 2/6, but just wonder if Maranty CR-603 is enough for these speakers....

Anyone knows if this could be a good match?
