Marantz CD6003 partnering - PM6003 or PM6004

I've recently bought the CD6003 and now have the upgrade bug - I'd like to replace my amp and am thinking PM6003 or PM6004, for partnering as well as aesthetic reasons (must saftisfy 'er indoors!). As the PM6003 is available at a knock-down price is there any significant reason why I should ignore it and go for the PM6004 instead?

And any advice re a suitable replacement for my Mission M60iSE's would be welcomed too. At present I mainly listen to music (all genres) using Senn HD600's via the headphone socket on the CD (and am very happy with the sound) but feel like the amp and speaker combination could be bettered.

As regards speakers, I've read on here that the new Marantzes are capable of powering most sub-1000 pound speakers.

Look at Epos, MA Bronze range, Focal and possibly Dynaudio.

Maybe the PM6004 is a little bit better but the PM6003 is a great amp. Can't go wrong with it

the 6004 is not a little improvement on the 6003.
