i have a tacima mains conditioner and was thinking of getting a better power cable for the blu-ray player

its a panasonic bd55 and it has the figure of 8 socket thing !

is it worth it and which ones are recommended ?

i have £30-40 to spend

Can you get the benefit of an imporoved power lead by plugging something like a Tacima into it so that all of the Tacima's sockets yield the improvement?

Is there such a thing as a mains conditioner that is also an improved mains lead so that two purchases are not necessary?

Yes, that would be a BT Mains Conditioning unit off EBay - cost around £50.

Plug your Tacima into that and you will have a clean/stable supply. You will probably find gains from mains leads make little difference.
