trevor79:AKL I am glad that on closer listening that you do hear the extension to the range and detail in your music. Much of the noise that is generated on the mains (as you have noted) is down to local activity. Plus, unless you have a dedicated spur will be from your own house! My previous reference to better fuses stands and you will hear further improvements.

Trevor, I have always thought that you are right about mains stuff because it makes logical sense to me. Now I have experienced and also realised what I have experienced (albeit accidentally stumbling upon it

), I KNOW you are right, and I am glad I have the Isotek.

Have ordered some RA fuses just to try, need some new fuses anyway

Oh thank you. I'm glad that I have given food for thought and some have benefited from getting more out of their systems.

PS...Can you please post a less sexy picture up of yourself as I find I am having trouble sleeping at night. ;-)

My Isotek Sigmas has made quite a difference to my system (But picture quality and sound quality)

Youll probably find that it gets better over the 1st few months as it runs in

I've said in many previous threads that power cables do work!

I've now just this week received my last power cable for,, and wait for it, my SUBWOOFER!!

All my cables are built to length by CLEARER AUDIO with wattgate 320i's and high performence plugs with super supressors at each end!! all have the correct fuse fitted to them to match the kit they are sized to!

I personaly wouldn't have spent nearly £500 on these if i didn't see, hear and think they were any good! all have been ordered at different times so i can test against the old cables etc!

I have found Darren at clearer one of the most decent retailers i have dealt with in a very long time! and to get the benifets from these cables as i have i would spend the same again!

I find the help on these forums great and people like Trevor79 are only on here to help and advise others of what it has taken them years on their own kit to find out themselves!!

Others like this so called hifi buff CYRIL MASON are only on here to upset and annoy others!!! I think from now on if people arn't helping then they should just be ignored by all that are here trying to help and advise!!

Thats my say in the whole power debate! but would like to express thanks to all the great members of this forum that have helped me since i joined this year! keep up the good work all!.

Well said, absolutely agree. Whilst some may have differing opinions, it is the way we respect and conduct ourselves towards other members viewpoints, that sometimes we may not agree with, that defines us. I, as many am always willing to learn, and am open minded to new thoughts or suggestions. Whether these can be proved theoretically or practically is the obvious cause for many debates, however facts and experiences carry far greaterweight than just stirring for stirrings sake with no back up from either fact or experience.
