magnetically shielded?

Hi

I have some speakers that are not magnetically shielded - could I put them next to a plasma or LCD TV to be used as front speakers in a home cinema system?

I don't use them with my CRT TV as it would affect it but I don't know about how or if it would affect plasma or LCD

Any help would be great
