Well went back to HMV and they had none left, no surrprise considering the price.

Anyway, went home, re-formatted and checked disc for errors, which took a few hours, and came back all good.

So started moving files again, but not all 186gb of it at one time, did 1/3 at a time.

And seems silent now.

Will keep an eye on it, and wont sell my other hdd until I know there is no problems.

Normally a loud clicking from a HDD would mean its going to fail very soon , as basically the data reading arm in the HDD is sticking and when it free's its self it hits the other side of the case .

It won't take to long before it does damage and fails to work at all
