I wonder if the QC issues that certain manufacturers are experiencing are actually known about but are being ignored and they are chancing their arm by pushing the sets out and hoping no one will notice.
Also I wonder how many "defective" sets are in homes where the owner has not noticed any problem or think that what they are seeing/hearing is "normal".
