Does anyone know if an Ipod Nano 3g will fit in this dock please?

I've heard reports that the 2g version only fits with a cable rather than in the dock.

According to the Logitech website, it supports 1G-3G iPod models via the 3.5mm aux input.

Thanks Andy, that's not the answer I wanted. Oh well I shall have to look for something different. Any thoughts?
