Logitech Harmony does not need the IR box for PS3?

Hey

I heard you dont need the £40.00 IR box to operate the logitech harmony remotes for the PS3.

You just need this:

Any experiance on this, does it really work, you just need to use the dongle.

Yes, you can use the Logic3 dongle, but:

1) It doesn't always work

2) You cannot power off the PS3 with it

3) 1 USB slot of the PS3 is permanently occupied.

I ditched it as soon as the Logitech PS3 adapter came which is a lot better.

But a lot more expensive. Just as long as I can pause and play and rewind, not to worried for a 5iver.

I would buy the Logitech sensor if it was 20.00 or less
