lip synch - how do you correct when alreadt behind?

just watching a sky hd movie i taped and the sound is so behind the picture - my lip synch only allows to delay it not speed it up

If it was recorded on the Sky+HD box rather than 'taped' - ie on an external recorder - try turning off the Sky box, turning it on again and re-starting the movie. Works for me when Sky+ HD planner recording lip-synch goes skewiff...
