LG or Samsung

Iam looking to buy either the Samsung 40a656 or the LG 42lg6000 if anyone could offer me any advice or help it would be kindly appreciated.

I was leaning towards the LG because of the extra size and price (£849) but since reading a few things on the forums noticed that people have had a some problems with bluring.

Then started leaning towards the Samsung as I found the set at £822 and the review in What HI-FI was a 5 star but as the review says should I wait for the price to come down or is £822 a pretty good steal anyway.

I will be mostly using the set for Xbox-360, watching football and films.

What's wrong with the Panasonic 42PZ80 at around £840.

Plasma is better for football (no blur) and films( better contrast, blacks and natural colours)

I was looking at the Samsung today using a Sony Blu-Ray player and it looked superb. Wasn't as impressive on standard def. Great picture. Definately better than the LG. As rewerb said though definately consider the Panasonic at that price, with better SD performance than the Samsung in my opinion.
