Try a factory reset gel. You will lose all calibration settings, but that may just solve the HDR issue.
thats just what Panasonic said, how did you know that?

I'm assuming this is the £5000 tv that so far everyone is moaning about on avforums?
Nope, £3500 I got the 55-inch.

I suppose I could write down the calibrated settings and then do a factory re-set?

Odds-on it'll be cancelled by the end of the week.
Not this one.

You could do that, but make sure that you write down ALL the calibrated settings, or ask Nick or Gordon for them. If you do the reset, you can't just put in some or most of the calibrated settings, you'll have to re-input ALL the previously calibrated settings. But the reset might make you like the Panasonic OLED again, perhaps to the extent that you decide not to sell it, which seems to be a fraught and drawn-out process anyway.

Alternatively, you really should get another calibration done if the previous calibration doesn't suit you. That's much, much cheaper than getting a new television .... and I hope that you won't regret going back down to a 55-inch!

No, I didn't find the jump from 55-inches to 65-inches big anyway.

If your dead set on selling it Gel and you have sold it as calibrated, then personally I wouldn't touch any of the settings, and I wouldn't do a factory reset. If your thinking of keeping it and getting it calibrated again then a reset would be a good idea. At this point in time, as you have order the LG 55" E series i'd leave the Panasonic alone.

Yep, agreed. There were just too many settings in the end to write them all down.

Yes, it could be a lot to write down. For instance, here are the calibration settings (copied and pasted from Mr Steve Withers's PDF file) for my LG 60PZ950T plasma, which has moved from the kitchen to the front bedroom since the calibraton:

But if you are set on selling the Panasonic, maybe best not to touch it now. But I just hope that you like the new 55" E6, and you should get it calibrated.
