Blu-Rays look fantastic on it. Hopefully Oldboy will be along soon to tell you more. It's a great TV though, just a problem with Tints on some, so you have to buy carefully from somewhere like John Lewis just in case you have to return one for another one.

hi Aqua, I've had this tv for a few weeks now and can honestly say I'm not disappointed .the picture is stunning and the TV itself is defo a beautiful thing. Yes ,you will find various issues on various forums but I think it's a struggle to find the " perfect tv" ...there always seems to be someone with an issue to air about any TV.

re..your JL price of £1610...... I would phone them up and take issue with them....they defo had it on last week at £1519 valid until 11/11 ( I know. As I price matched it) so I'd say that you saw that deal if I were you..

good luck

i wouldnt bother with 1080p even if its OLED..now that 4k is better and cheaper

ive a few issues ,as we stand, with 4k.

Yes,TVs are now coming down in price but surely all these cheaper 4k tellies are not ALL brilliant and ALL getting great reviews?

wheres the content? There's just not enough of it atm in my opinion.

further..let's say ( for example)that Sky's new box is 4k....how much is it going to cost...how much will the subs go up,again? How much content will there be ? And what about many of their customers ( like me)... I've got a 2tb box and it's well loaded with 100s of hours of series..films etc.....most still waiting to be watched. Unless Sky find a way of letting me get this on a new box why would I be willing to get one ?

Yes,I agree 4k will be the way forward at some point...but it is no way a done deal at the present time....for me the LG Oled represented an opportunity to up the quality of my viewing at a price I couldn't resist.

you act like 4k blu ray is years off. it had a christmas 2015 estimated release but pushed back to spring 2016. worst case scenario it is delayed again to maybe summer 2016 (unlikely) we will have it very soon! then you will wish you had got a 4k tv to take advantage..

Hi Nugget, hey, you may well be right.....but, as it stands right now , I got my LG for £1019 if you take into account the £200 I got for my old Panny.

That represents amazing value and I dont need to spend another penny to enjoy it.

IF I wanted to enjoy 4k in any reasonable quantity how much is it going to cost me....new blu Ray player... Perhaps a Sky box...Sky subs etc.....I've no doubt that 4k is great but I'm planning on waiting another year or so and I reckon I'll get a fair sum still for the 930.
