The picture does not show the gallery frame, while Richer Sounds one does, showing the frame and is £1000 dearer. So, are LG selling the model without the gallery frame as well? :?

I think the gallery frame costs £800 by itself.

Hmm....now that makes more sense. Good to see launch prices under £4000 for a second generation OLED TV. LG may actually have a winner here!

Yep, if I had the money and space I would buy it. Black levels are amazing.

In the conclusion the writer says,

Picture quality is simply amazin.

What sort of language is that, it's a bit poor from someone who is supposed to be a professional writer.

I think the 4K version will be out of my price range even for this time next year, looks like i better start saving for samsung... :?

I have a scary feeling the 4K OLED might be well expensive too. Start saving is a good idea. :)

If you have a great TV already (gel, I'm looking at you! :)) then there's no sense buying a new TV right now. Leave it another two years I reckon and see how the dust settles with oled/4k bluray/curved vs flat etc.

Yep - agreed. :). I still find looking a new TVs fascinating though, but I will wait. I would like to see a clear jump in performance over my current one and I think OLED will do that. But I did have mine calibrated because I want to keep it for many years.

70+ inch oled, or projector scrolling down from the ceiling, till either of those is an option I'm sticking with the ZT (planning to move house next year so no sense going for a projector right now)
