That's the curved 2013 model; this one is a flat 2014 model (second generation).

I think the gallery frame costs £800 by itself.

Yep, if I had the money and space I would buy it. Black levels are amazing.

I have a scary feeling the 4K OLED might be well expensive too. Start saving is a good idea. 🙂

If you have a great TV already (gel, I'm looking at you! 🙂) then there's no sense buying a new TV right now. Leave it another two years I reckon and see how the dust settles with oled/4k bluray/curved vs flat etc.

Yep - agreed. 🙂. I still find looking a new TVs fascinating though, but I will wait. I would like to see a clear jump in performance over my current one and I think OLED will do that. But I did have mine calibrated because I want to keep it for many years.

70+ inch oled, or projector scrolling down from the ceiling, till either of those is an option I'm sticking with the ZT (planning to move house next year so no sense going for a projector right now)
