LG 22LG3000 or similar...

I am looking for a good 22" LCD monitor for my bedroom that is £300 or under, and I came across this new LG 22LG3000, which seems to fit the bill for me. However I can not find out when said LCD will be released, as there is not too much infomation on this. Can anyone help?

Also if anyone has a suggestion on a better LCD at a similar price and size then I would be glad to hear them. I would like to spend £300 or less, but an willing to stretch it to a maximum of £350.

Thanks JSM for your input. I had a look at this monitor and although the price is tempting, it does not have a HDMI interface, and reviews have noted its bad sound quality. I dont really want to also have to plug the TV into speakers aswell. I also looked at the other version of the above model on play.com which has HDMI, but the same sound issues. I like the look of the newer LG, which has 2 HDMI ports and a good contrast ratio, and hopefully better sound production. You can find the specs of the new one here...

It is annoying that LG have already began advertising the monitor without any mention of when it will be available for purchase, I found the monitor listed on some online retailers website for £299.99 but they do not state when the monitor will be able for delivery. The retailer simply states 'Pre-order Now. Waiting release from Manufacturer.'

Where can I find this infomation?

I can see it on a couple of UK sites but they are pre-order only.

LG replied to my query and indeed stated that the monitor would be available sometime in June, which is abit misleading for a spring 2008 line up. I think I will go for one of the samsung 22 or 23 inch monitors instead of the older LG models. Now to find the best deal on these. Thanks
