Left speaker low volume.

I have just hooked up my new set up and it has worked well the last week but on turning on today the left speaker is very low. I have tried changing channels but the same problem occurs. Any ideas?

Does the amp have 'balance' controls? It's possible this hjas been altered so it plays very little out of one side.

Yeah, but it is centered so it can't be that.

Try swapping your phono leads into your amp over, if the problem then moves to the other speaker then the problem is at the turntable end if it stays at the same speaker then it's amp, cable, speaker related.
Does it do the same off a CD.
