Did s factory reset now the lights work but I can't update the firmware .

And I think you need to be in mode 1 (AIO) to be able to update firmware.... just in case you changed it.

Yes but I am using the IOS app on an iPad and that may be where the difference lies! 🙂

Just got it to connect to my daughter's iPhone and I've updated it .
Must be the app on my phone it doesn't like

It's going well with the tucana .I get what your saying about upgrading everything around it to take the system up to its level .but I'm in the same boat as yourself I just can't afford it
More than that I'm happy with system I have apart from the ifi zen streamer .

what’s the rest of your setup then? I’m nosey 🤣

I would guess your components are on par with my kit: Linton Heritage and my TB2i in the same ballpark
