I have a macbook pro and was wondering if there is any difference between using USB-PC vs Mini toslink from laptop's headphone jack (http://www.audioquest.com/fiber-optics/forest)?

If the Integrated Amp has a 'PC USB' ,Coaxial and Optical input, with same 24bit/192kHz specs, which would you use for music?

2nd question:

My music is stored on NAS, at the moment I am using Sonos but is it possible to use Audirvana on my macbookPro to stream the music wirelessly? cant quite get my head around it.

You mean stream the music to the Sonos from the laptop, why would you bother if you've got a NAS?

No, at the moment I just use the Sonos but its limited to 16bit/44.1kHz music so I'm just curious what higher-def music would sound like especially using my macbook's Audirvana Plus player, 24/44.1 24/96, etc

So I was wondering how I would get the music from NAS to my macbook then onto Amp?
