those kefs look great, i like the look of the tweeter, i think the reason the standmount version don't look as good (imo) is that the horizontal strip appears to cut them in half, it's not a problem with your ones though, they wear that strip nicely

Ok this picture showns the location of the rear speakers.......they will be going where my old QA speakers are......

KEF T101's flat on the wall would literally be facing each other, 2.7metres apart......

Will that be ok, or would the KEF eggs angled down like the QA's are, be better.......

pete, you can make the pics 400x400 in diameter (but no bigger), just type it in in the dimensions box before posting, 400 in each box..

This picture thing is pretty easy, after reading PjPro's help......just needed a flickr account, download pictures onto that, then copy and paste the http address from the picture properties of each photo to attach onto a post here.....sorted.

The Q500's are abolutely superb.......VERY happy with that purchase indeed.......

And I love the look of them, but use the front covers all the time, with dogs and a wife who like's her wine around it's a necessity......

Sorry Max I thought you said 2.07 m. At 2.7m I really don't think there is an issue with them this close, if anything when you have a surround effect like rain or something that combines the 2, I think it will sound better.

I'm Pete, not Max.......

But thanks anyway.....

Sorry Pete, my works phone rang as I was typing the reply, not too good at multi-tasking.

Are you desparate for these for Christmas Pete? One thing that might sway it, is that the T series speakers won't be available in single forum until the New Year...

I don't think you'd have a problem with them facing each other either.

They can be ordered, but actual stock won't be until next year. If we had to take everything off the site we won't now be able to get until next year, I'd be here until 10pm tonight!

the_lhc:Hmm, I thought I'd seen the T series available in white, was I imagining it?

I was wondering the same thing, I thought I had seen it somewhere, but when I checked the web site it shows black only. Maybe I was thinking of the MA soundframe

There may be some mock up pics doing the rounds - I saw one of some colours which was just to demonstrate the possibilities. No doubt white will be available at some time.

Pistol Pete1:
David,

When, next year, are we thinking? Do you know, or should I contact KEF?

If in Jan/Feb, I may wait....if in Nov/Dec I won't wait.....

From what I've been told, Jan/Feb
