KEF speaker upgrade

I currently have the KEF 2005.2 speaker package. I want to go to 7.1, but i would also like to upgrade to the 3005 package. I cant afford seven new speakers now, so was thinking of buying the 3005 package bit by bit as funds allow. My question is how will it sound if I have say the centre channel from the 3005 with the satellites from the 2005. I understand they should be tonally matched ok, so should sound ok? What order would you upgrade/add to the system, I was thinking of centre, then front L+R, then sub, then rears. Sound ok?

I have the 2005.2 package for two years and the only weak spot for the money is the Centre Speaker thats why I am in the process of upgrading to the 3005 CP I have been told by 3 suppliers that its a perfect match and a worth while upgrade Superfi quoted £160
