I ws tempted to go for Walnut as it's not easily marked like Gloss Black, but Walnut wouldn't have gone well with the decor, so Gloss Black it was

No issue with 300's. Only waiting for 100's and 700's - we had some 700's in, but they're sold.

Briefly heard the R700s today on the end of a Linn Akurate DS and amp. Pleasantly surprised at how good they were.... much better than the XQ range they replaced. Bass was plentiful and the treble was open and airy, with no hint of grain.

I wasn't there for a demo, but saw them playing in one of the rooms and went in for a quick nosey.

IMO They need to be on any potential buyers' short list, where they are looking to spend £2k.

Our lead times aren't quite that long! If we get a pair in the next couple of weeks - which i'd expect we should - then they will slot into our January issue, which is posted out to subscribers on 8th December and in shops by 14th December.
