Unlike the Q series, all drivers in the R series will be driven - there's no ABR's. The UniQ is based on the stunning Blade UniQ, and based on the performance of the Blades, it should be something pretty special!

The R30 (or R300, assuming they keep their current numbering) should be interesting. Am I right in thinking that it's the first Kef standmount that does not have a single driver array, other than the Reference series, in a long time.

Does anyone know the measurements for the smaller center speaker? If it's small enough I might finally be able to replace the 2005.2 egg that's still doing center duties.

I would assume the dimensions will be fairly similat to the Q series, but until we get firm details, I can't say for sure.

And yes, it will be the first KEF standmount for quite a long time with an extra driver other than a UniQ - by my recollection, you'd have to go back to the Reference 101/2.
