Kef IQ1 and Denon 250SE

Just got these for my Father for £180 - good deal? I've no idea as to how good these will sound but I'm sure he will prefer it to his Sony all in one home cinema system for cds!

the 250se is a terrific amp very highly rated by the mags when it came out in fact it was part of what i listed as good buys on ebay this morning

I've just finished setting up my Dad's new system - 320kbps mp3 files from Western Digital media player into a Beresford 7510 to Denon PMA-250SE and out to Kef IQ1s. Budget cables all round. Sound is pretty good if a little disappointing - I really noticed how good my system sounds. However for under £250, I think the old man will be pleased when he gets home Monday.
