Hi, I'm hoping for some advice on these speakers.
I'm looking to change my speakers in the next 4 weeks or so. I've got a Denon 1910 with Kef 1005.1 speakers, which are about 7 years old now. I've also got a Sony BDP760.
I was initially going to get the 3005's but, I saw a thread some days ago on here where David from Frank Harvey mentioned that he believed that speakers do well with good amplification. He gave the analogy of the kef 3005 speakers sounding better with more expensive amps than say the £400 to £500 bracket, although, they sound good with the lower priced amps they will be better with more expensive/more capeable equipment. Would I be better to consider the 2005's against the 3005's and save myself a few quid?
I'm unsure about a lot of home cinema and I both rely on and am grateful for the detail given on this forum and indeed the magazine. So, if you guys could give me a thought or two it would be appreciated.
My room is 14' x 12'.
Thanks
