KDL-40W5500 same as KDL-40W5710??

5710 is available at John Lewis. If its the same as the 5500 I have FINALLY decided its the one for me.

I'll take it back if I get backlight problems otherwise it seems that accross all the review sites its the best of the bunch and would have got 5 stars here if the back light is ok.

So is it the same set??

Yes. Its the same set, apart from a very minor cosmetic difference on the front. The '5710' is exclusive to Sony Centres, John Lewis Partnership, and Costco.

Cheers matt, that is good to know.

Choosing this model as every other review other than What Hi Fi Hi seem to highly reccomend it and as What Hi Fi gave the 4500 its Award for best TV, and it seems other than potential backlight trouble (which I may or may not notice) its an inporoved set.

Plus I am going round in circles at the moment!
