John Lewis Free delivery....How far?

Could anyone please tell me how far you have to be from a John Lewis store to get free delivery? Do I have to price match from the nearest JW to me( Solihull ) or can I choose any?

It's about 30 miles, but it can vary by store.

For pricematches, try your nearest store. Ring or email via their website for a pricematch

I asked a the Newcastle JL and they told me I was outside the delivery area (90 miles, not suprised

) and that it was a 50 mile radius

Just got my price match back for the Sony 40W4000, it says the price they matched aginst included delivery so I am hoping that the price I pay will, fingers crossed

I should try Solihull first they price matched me for a 37PX80 down from £799.99 to £594.99.

It dosent necaserrily have to be the "closest" store to get free delivery. Example: My nearest branch is southampton and they dont do free delivery if you purchase in store. By contrast, Me and the OH were looking at mattressers at JL in cribbs causeway which is a 2 hour plus driver (!) Free delivery, in store, no problem at all! It simly depends on the carriers the individual stores use!
