At work we book goods into stock by first scanning the EAN barcode for a product then scanning each individual serial number barcode. Occasionally a product arrives without an EAN code and we have to search for it on the internet. Then use the scanners keyboard and type it in. This can be infuriating at times as even manufacturers websites don't always give this information.
We recently had a number of Hotpoint products without an EAN code (this might be a regular thing with the new models) Any way I searched on Google and instantly google's ai had the codes. I double checked the first one and it was correct.
So yes I've found something useful with googles ai search.
