ITU Diagram (Speaker Positioning)

Hi all,

An issue of What HiFi? advises using the below ITU diagram with a laser pointer for perfect speaker setup. Having now seen the diagram I need a bit of help..the only measurements are angles, how do you go about doing this? http://www.whathifi.com/itudiagram

You don't.

There is no empirical formula for 'perfect' speaker set-up.

There are too many variables involed here, everyones room size, shape, fittings, listening position all differ.

You can only plonk them in an approximation of the recommended setting and then listen / tweak / listen again etc.
