Isolating amplifier.. does it work?

I am wondering if placing some Milty Foculpods under my amp will make it sound better? Or are these vibration killers mainly for CD and DVD players?

The effects of these things are very over played. The Sugden is a well engineered amplifier and I'm quite sure the amp's chassis is more than capable of providing any necessary isolation.

I have mine sitting on a granite isopod sandwich. It looks good, it brings my amp to a level high enough to hide cables behind it and it sounds great. Not sure that the sound would be a great deal different if it wasn't sitting on the sandwich but at about £25 cost, what the heck! Oh, and granite keeps things cooler too.
