as one who is pro 3d i have been waching the isle of wight festival in 3d
and it brings a better insight to the festival the 3d is impressive for music
concerts imo,, so to all you anti 3d punters on the whsv forums
its you who are missing out so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

This is gonna end up a BIG thread!, theres a lot of people out there thats taken on merit that 3D will fail yet again!, however it should be given a chance and those that welcome it should enjoy it, its like all those years back no one in there right mind would buy a Skoda! but they came a long way since then and is a very nice thing,

3D may be going the same way and i for one WILL give it go, i may not get another opportunity, if it works it works if it dont it dont i dont really care, i can rest in the knowledge i gave it a go.

well i dont see any advert, and his signature covers any mis-understanding, and i believe after two years if WHF thought otherwise they would have removed it by now!

I don't have anything against 3D in general. but I do have a lot against 3D vision in it's current form. I mean those glasses. spirits of the past come back to haunt you again. as I understand it this "latest" technology dates back to the 50's, right? it very annoynig being forced to wear some colored shades to be able to see some objects seemingly popping out of the screen. and you sacrifice colour saturation and contrast, because of necessity to wear those glasses.

I'm definitely looking forward to further development of glasses free 3D TVs or even holographic TV (this is true 3D unlike to what manufacturers of "3D" TVs want to sell us right now using this slogan). development of this technology will definitely represent a leap into the future rather than just a mere reintroduction of the same ol'thing again.
