The Toshiba 37c3035 has 25fps is this that important? How does the sony perform in comparison to the Toshiba and the Samsung 37" LE37R87BDX/XEU? Any advice is greatly apreciated. I am concerned about motion blur!

Then you need a plasma. Panasonic TH-37PX80, £619 at Sound & Vision, Bolton.

To much money I am afraid. I have a budget of £550 tops. The wife will kill me if I go over this.

The TV is to be used with a media centre which can upscale to 720p and a ps3. I want the best set I can afford with the least motion blur.

then go for the Sony, it is a nice set that doesnt have as much motion blur as some other LCDs in its size but cannot be compared to the 37" plasmas...

Get JL to price match the PX80 from Sound & Vision at £619. You will then get a 5 year warranty from JL.
I know that this works out £69 over your budget, but £69 for a 5 year warranty is a bargain!

So you are buying a TV for £550 and paying an extra (but 'separate') £69 for the warranty...

That is a good use of logic..!?
