Around where i live their are a couple CRT tv repair shops, with everybody buying flatpanel tv's now a day's, i was just wondering is this the end for tv repair shops. Their is one shop close to me that is still selling secondhand CRT tv's usually between £50-£100 which seems a bit much for outdated tech but i suppose they have to make a living, & am just wondering what sort of person would buy a second hand CRT???

Students wanting a cheap TV to use while they're at the Uni.......

Although you can easily get secondhand CRT TVs for £30 - 50 nowadays on gumtree.

You don't have to pay a penny, just get yourself down to your local recycling dump there you'll find all sizes, including stands and most working perfectly.

It's quite sad really it's like an elephants graveyard
