It clearly states it is a USB dac and that appears to be the only input
OK, I will rephrase to say: It has limited use as a DAC due to limited inputs.

You can only use the USB input with a source that is also providing power to the device.

I have to disagree that it "clearly states" it is a USB dac." In fact it seems to bend over backwards to avoid the title DAC. They call it "USB/Bluetooth Audio Receiver Converter" Even the paragraph that names the DAC chip avoids saying DAC instead going for "Superior Audio Decoding" and "Featuring Cirrus Logic's latest audio decoding chip"

If it's a convertor it has, obviously a DAC.
Sorry if I wasn't being clear enough regardless of what they state.
I would agree it has limited connection but it will operate as a DAC

Has anyone looked at the picture?

Not much different to the back of a CDP yes you can send data and power via the usb so you have 2 inputs but to call it a DAC! You could even connect it to a DAC or use an internal DAC in your Amp.

I can see it being useful for some people but not as a DAC.
